VTS Basic Operator Course V103-1

Formål og kursusindhold
Kurset er funderet på de krav og kriterier nævnt i IALA Recommendation R0103 (V103). Kurset er det grundlæggende kursus som VTS Operatør. Efter bestået kursus vil deltageren være i stand til at søge ansættelse på et VTS Center.
Hvis deltageren er ansat på et VTS Center vil vedkommende efter bestået kursus kunne forsætte til ”on the job training”.
Kurset er en blanding af teori og øvelser i simulator. Kurset bygger på IALA Model Course V103-1.
Målgruppe: Personer, der ønsker at søge job/er ansat som VTS-operatører.
Adgangskrav:
Deltageren forventes at have bestået eksamen som Skibsfører eller Dual Skibsofficer. Der forudsættes tillige sejltid som navigatør.
Deltageren skal fremsende kopi af sønæringsbevis sammen og kopi af gyldigt ROC (eller GOC) certifikat
Note: Det er muligt at deltage på kursus, trods ovenstående krav ikke kan imødekommes. Dertil udstedes kursuscertifikat for deltagelse, uden IALA certificering.

Bemærkninger/noter

Purpose and Course Content
The course is based on the requirements and criteria outlined in IALA Recommendation R0103 (V103).
This is the basic training course for VTS Operators. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to apply for employment at a VTS Centre.
Participants who are already employed at a VTS Centre may proceed to On-the-Job Training (OJT) upon successful completion of the course.
The course combines theoretical instruction with practical simulator exercises and is based on the IALA Model Course V103-1.
Target Group
Individuals who wish to pursue a career as a VTS Operator or who are already employed in this role.
Entry Requirements
Participants are expected to hold a qualification as Master Mariner or Dual Ship Officer, including relevant seagoing experience as a navigating officer.
Participants must submit a copy of their Certificate of Competency (CoC) and a valid ROC (or GOC) certificate.
Note: It is possible to participate in the course without meeting the above entry requirements. In such cases, a Certificate of Participation will be issued without IALA certification.

Additional Information
During the on-site course, a light breakfast, lunch and coffee will be provided in the canteen.
